Wy-Hi Regatta 2017

The Wy-Hi Regatta is scheduled for Saturday, May 6th. Entry information is now posted in the regatta section for coaches.

Hebda Cup Regatta-April 29th 2017

The annual Hebda Cup Regatta is scheduled for Saturday, April 29th at BASF Waterfront park in Wyandotte. Races start at 8am with qualifying heats followed by finals races. This high school rowing regatta is a spring tradition on the Detroit River, where Roosevelt, Riverview, Grosse Ile, Carlson, Trenton, Crestwood, and Southgate will compete with out-of town schools.

Youth Learn to Row – 2017 camps

Want to try something new this summer? Are you entering 7th – 12th grade next year? If so, Wyandotte Boat Club will teach you how to row at one of our Youth Learn-to-Row Camps!

There will be two camp sessions for 2017:

  • Session 1: June 19th – June 30th
  • Session 2: July 10th – July 21st.

You can join either session, or do both sessions! Each two-week session provides instruction, equipment, a camp t-shirt, and a picnic on the last day.  To register or get more details, please visit the YLTR page.

WBC Kielbasa-making Fundraiser

WBC’s Annual Easter Kielbasa fundraiser is happening on Saturday April 8th at noon.  $40 gets you 5 pounds of fresh Kielbasa that you make and a Kielbasa lunch with beer / pop.  The Kielbasa making will be led by Larry Stec.

Recreational Rowing

The Wyandotte Boat offers adult recreational rowing classes every summer, your opportunity to experience a new activity, meet new people, and workout while being on the water.

Classes will be offered in mid-June. Please visit the programs page and the adult recreational section for details of the the sessions. Check back in the spring for registration information.
