The Wyandotte Boat Club offers a strong Junior "B" program for anyone under 16 that is intrested in rowing. This program is usually made up of Freshmen and Sophomores who are looking to compete and get better. Junior "B" rowing is offered to both Men and Women. The Junior program is offered to both Men and Women and are for rowers that are between the ages of 16 and 18. This category often find themseleves competing against some of the best Juniors in the nation. The Senior "B" category is anyone between the age's of 18 to 23 years old. This category is broken up into diffrent weight categories. The 140 pound category is offered to only the Men's crew. The 115 pound category is offered to the Women's crew only. The 130 pound category is another weight category for the Women as is the 155 pound category for Men. Senior "B's" also offers open weight categories to both Men and Women. They find themselves competing against some of the top atheletes in the Nation. The Senior category is anyone older then 23 years old. This category is broken up into diffrent weight categories as well. They too offer the 140 pound category to Men only. The 115 pound category and the 130 pound category is offered only to the Women and the 155 pound category for Men. Senior's are the toughest events to compete in because most oarsmen in this event are very experienced. Adult Recreational Rowing - - "Because of the participation and response from returning experienced rowers, the adult learn to row program will not be accepting new rowers into the program unless they have prior rowing experience. The program will accept new rowers during the first session of the 2010 program which will start in mid-June next year." - -
